Community Nursing Jobs for ANPs, CNS’s and Staff Nurses

Kate Cowhig International Healthcare Recruitment in partnership with the Health Services Executive (HSE) are pleased to offer exciting community nursing jobs for Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANP), Clinical Nurse Specialists (CNS) and staff nurses to support community healthcare around Diabetes, Cardiology and Respiratory both in the community and in acute settings.

 

The ECCP (first of its kind in Ireland, ) aims to transform how care is delivered in the community. Within the ECCP, the HSE will build primary and community services to help care for people at home, older people and people with chronic conditions. The focus is on end-to-end care pathways that will prevent referrals and admissions to acute hospitals where it is safe and appropriate to do so.

Positions are also available in acute settings in hospitals throughout Ireland

  • ANP salary range from €59,742 – €73,725 (based on experience)
  • CNS salary range from €51,422 – €60,792 (based on experience)
  • Staff Nurse salary range from €31,109 – €46,521 (based on experience)
  • Full-Time and permanent HSE positions with a pension package
  • 25 days + 10 bank holidays (increases to 26 days after 5 years)
  • Working hours 39 hours per week 5/7 – no night duty / flexible working

  • NMBI registration fees reimbursed to include the initial NMBI application fee of €350
  • Flight reimbursement for UK/EU up to €250 / Flight reimbursement for Non-EU candidates up to €800

Clinical Nurse Specialists:

Registered nurses working in community teams will have an opportunity to engage in professional development planning through HSE induction and PDP supports. HSE employees engage in performance achievement processes and meet with their line manager on a regular basis. Opportunities for professional and career development are supported by the community service team, the Director of Public Health Nursing and the Office of Nursing and Midwifery Services Director.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible to register with the NMBI
  • A minimum of 5 years post-registration experience required
  • Candidates are required to have experience in one of the following clinical areas Respiratory, Cardiology or Diabetes
