About the HSE
The HSE is a large governmental agency, established in 2005 under the Health Act. It operates under the supervision of the Department of Health and is responsible for managing and delivering health and social care services nationwide. The organization is divided into regional health areas, each with its own management structure to oversee service delivery at the local level.
The Health Service Executive (HSE) is the organization responsible for providing health and social services in Ireland. The primary purpose of the HSE is to ensure the delivery of high-quality health and social care services to the people of Ireland. It aims to promote and protect the health and well-being of all citizens, as well as to provide equitable access to healthcare services across the country.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Eligible to register with NMBI (Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland).
- EU nurses – must have 12 months acute hospital experience in the specialty.
- Non-EU nurses – must have a minimum of three years’ experience in the specialty.
