Position

We have positions available now for experienced nurses with acute hospital experience.

Location

The hospital is located in Dublin on a sixty-acre site to the immediate south of the river Liffey and adjacent to the historically important Viking and medieval City Centre. Together with the original Guinness Brewery, it is a key landmark in the Liberties area of Dublin on James’s Street.

Benefits Include:

  • Salary: as per HSE scale commencing at €29,707 – €45,992 p.a. increases depending on years of experience
  • Permanent full-time positions, 24 days annual leave plus 9 days public holidays

Eligible Criteria:

  • Must be registered with An Bord Altranais
  • Candidates should have a minimum of six months of experience in General Medicine/ Surgical
  • Nursing in an acute hospital in the past three years to be considered for a position in theatre.
  • Experience in Peri-operative nursing is desirable.
  • Candidates who are interested in ICU, CCU or Cardiothoracic ICU should have experience should have either a minimum of one year of experience in General Nursing/ Surgical Nursing plus 6 months of experience working within a critical care environment  within the past 3 years or have a minimum of one year of experience in a critical care environment in an acute hospital within the last three years. A postgraduate qualification in the relevant area would be desirable.
  • Will be required to develop additional clinical skills pertinent to the speciality
  • Have a patient centred approach to nursing care
  • Must hold an EU passport or if non-EU passport holder must have GNIB Stamp
