St. James’s Hospital delivers a wide range of surgical services at a local, regional and national level. The SACC (Surgery, Anaesthesia and Critical Care Directorate) Directorate programme focuses on the surgical patient process from outpatients through to discharge. Core principles are based around safe, personal, clinically effective and high quality service to all patients, with clear accountability for all staff members. While, the Urology Department provides a service for patients who suffer from problems with Kidney’s, Bladder, Prostate and general “Water-Works”.

Registered General Nurse with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), or eligible to register
A minimum of 12 months acute hospital experience within the last 3 years in a 200+ bedded hospital
European Union Trained Nurses- Academic IETLTS is not required for nurses who have trained within the European Union (EU).
Academic IELTS is an essential NMBI requirement for those who have trained outside of the EU. The following are the required scores (S-7, W-7, R-6.5, L-6.5)
