Currently recruiting in the following specialties:

Children’s Intellectual Disability: 

  • Care to children with severe/profound intellectual disability and complex care needs

Adult Intellectual Disability:

  • Supporting each individual currently living in the service in a person-centred environment. 
  • Advance the development and delivery of services through advocacy, research and education.
  • Deliver exemplar, holistic care; within a dynamic culture of compassion, collaboration and excellence.

Applicants must be willing to sit the RCSI Overseas Aptitude Exam.

Adaptation program not available.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience preferably in an acute setting with children or young people with complex/life-limiting nursing care needs
  • Experience in Children’s Intellectual disability and/or palliative care beneficial
  • Experience in Adult Intellectual Disability beneficial 
  • Medical ward experience (2 years)
  • Relevant nursing qualification  
  • NMBI: must have Decision Letter (preferred) or registration status of “Education Assessment Complete”
  • Only experienced staff nurses with a minimum of 2 years experience will be considered. 
  • Valid OET/IELTS Certificate
  • Previous experience in itellectual disability services preferred

The Community Healthcare Organisations (CHO’s) are community healthcare services outside of acute hospitals, such as primary care, social care, mental health, and other health and well-being services.

The goal of CHO Hospitals is to support integrated care within community healthcare services and between community and acute hospital services while also strengthening integration with public service organisations.
