STAFF NURSE


KCR in partnership with University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust currently have opportunities for motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic nurses to join the Trust’s forward thinking and supportive multi–professional team. Previous work experience is not essential as the Trust can provide full training and support to the successful candidates.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

•Participates in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individual patient care.
•Ensure that all patients receive the care identified in their care plans.
•Observes on the conditions of patients and maintains patients’ records accurately.
•Ensures that confidentiality is maintained at all times.
•Adheres to regulations regarding the custody and administration of medicines.
•Maintains good communication with patients’ family/friends regarding the patients’ needs and welfare.
•Organises the reception, discharge and aftercare of patients in accordance with hospital policy.

Southampton is also the greenest city in Southern England, with the Southampton Common stretching over 300 acres. The people (Sotonians) are very friendly and there is plenty to do around the city and on your day off, from historic sightseeing to shopping, plus it only takes 80 minutes by train to get from Southampton to central London.

•Salary from £22,128 - £28,746 (depending on experience)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

•Must hold valid Nursing Registration.
•Must be EU trained with a Degree in Nursing.
•Must hold Academic IELTS (7.0 in each band) OR Occupational English Test (OET) with Grade B in all 4 subsets.
•You are committed to continuous professional development.
•You have the passion to deliver care of the highest standard.
